"To them God has chosen to make known the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Colossians 1:27

Biker Day!!!
Mark your calendars for May 2, 2010

The Sons of Thunder Motorcycle Ministry is designed to take the Word of God into the motorcycle world.

We are regularly invited to participate in different events at Tumbleweeds Bar & Grill and Mexicali Rose in Monroe.  We provide New Testament Bibles, tracts and coins as well as free popcorn & bottled water.

Having a biker day at our church inviting bikers in. Hopewell's Annual Biker Day is the first Sunday of May each year.   After the service all bikers take
an escorted ride to a park or other venue where they are provided a meal and the opportunity for fellowship.

Going on rides with other groups and churches, having rides from Hopewell and inviting churched and un-churched riders in.

Setting up our Sons of Thunder booth at different motorcycle events in the Charlotte metro area and talking to other bikers about our ministry and what we do. Our plans now and for the future are to seek God where He is working and meet Him there.

We are affiliated with the Carolina Faith Riders (www.carolinafaithriders.com) which was started through the NC State Baptist Convention as a way to network with other churches and for additional resources for our ministry.

Through Him, By Him, For Him

*Pray for our affiliates at Carolina Faith Riders as they network with other churches through the NC State Baptist Convention.

*Pray for courage to be effective witnesses for Christ at various motorcycle events throughout the Charlotte Metro area.

*Pray for us as we take the Word of God into the motorcycle world, through rides with other groups and churches.

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should" (Ephesians 6: 18-20)
